Bat Count Season is starting soon! If you are interested in being part of this fascinating work, done mostly at Minnekhada Farm, or just need a refresher, please join us for an orientation session on Friday, June 6 at 7:45 PM. We will discuss fascinating bat facts, specific information about our local bat populations as well as bat count procedures and safety protocols. The evening will conclude with a tour of the bat sites at Minnekhada Farm and a short walk back to the parking lot. If the weather co-operates we will likely see some bats emerge as well.
Meet at Quarry Road Parking Lot promptly at 7:45 PM to walk to Tack Room.
